Cambridge Scout District comprises 19 Scout Groups and 6 Explorer Scout Units in and around the City of Cambridge. There are currently 1300 young people aged 6 to 25 (boys and girls) that benefit from the Scout programme and Scouting activities. This is delivered by an enthusiastic team of more than 250 adult volunteers.
Scouting in Cambridge is adventure. It provides an opportunity for young people and adult volunteers to develop leadership and team skills through camping, adventurous activities and international travel.
In 2011/2012 Scout Groups in Cambridge ran over 50 camps and expeditions in the UK and Europe and took part in activities include camping, hill walking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, climbing, abseiling, shooting and archery.
HELP BUILD OUR NEW WEB SITE
Thanks for visiting our new web site.
This new site has been built to support Cambridge district activities, planning, administration and communications channels. The site belongs to the youth and adult members of Cambridge district, and the District Commissioner has asked that young members make a significant contribution to the content on the site and that all members can make suggestions on what they would like the site to do.
Whether that's ideas for an image gallery, new pages such as news and views, sections of the site for each group in the district or just something in the background where you can share ideas and programmes, or something we haven't thought of, we'd like to hear from YOU.
Please use this page to send us your suggestions or ideas
